The Small Business Administration (SBA) aids, counsels, and protects the interests of small businesses. They provide assistance, training and funding to entrepreneurs interested in going into business or expanding their current business.

SCORE works to educate entrepreneurs and assist in the formation, growth and success fo small businesses. SCORE volunteers are real-world professionals with time-tested knowledge who donate their time to counseling, workshops and seminars in an effort to help small businesses succeed.

Courses

SCORE offers 3 workshops within their Small Business Series (Business Plan, Marketing, & Cash Management). The cost is $25.00 per session or $50.00 for all three.

The Houston Area Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) provide the tools and resources necessary to help businesses grow and compete. These centers are located throughout the Houston Metropolitan region and offer business consulting as well as training seminars designed to help you attract customers, improve operations, increase sales and successfully access capital.
